Dressing a child is not an easy task.
The sizes go from 6cm to 6cm and often, the current size is too small all around and the next size is too big!
And if your child is long and thin, you end up having to buy different sizes for their pants and shorts and different sizes for their t-shirts and jackets.
And it's even worse if you are in the middle of a lockdown and you have to buy clothes online! There's no way to stick to one specific size because they vary according to the brand of clothing!
